Well a busy term has come to an end and we look forward to an exciting final term for Year 6.
Year 6 will be departing for their residential trip to Peat Rigg on Wednesday 17th April. The children should arrive at school at the normal time but go to the school hall.
Have an Eggciting Easter Break!

Hi,
An entertaining week this week! Year 6 enjoyed watching the performance of Oliver. This reminded the children of their Victorian's history topic and the character descriptions they wrote about Oliver in the autumn term.
My maths group is continuing their work on calculating missing angles and Miss Bairstow's group have been calculating equivalent fractions, decimals and percentages. We only have a few maths topics to study now before we do some revision sessions prior to the SATs in May.
On Wednesday, the KS3 leader of Benton Park came to talk to the children about their transition to secondary school. The children were excited to learn about their new school and asked some interesting questions.
Have a super weekend!

Hi,
Assessment has been the focus in school this week. Year 6 completed a range grammar and spelling, reading and maths papers. The children's focus was amazing and the staff team were impressed by the maturity they showed. It was lovely to hear the work related discussions between the children after each assessment. Well done everyone!
Parents' evening provided a great opportunity to discuss the progress children have made. Information regarding SATs was given out at the meeting and I have also included a link to Information for parents leaflet issued by the Department for Education.
Thank you for the contributions for the Rainbow Hampers. We are looking forward to the performance of Oliver next week.
Have a great weekend
