Hello,
The end of the year is approaching and Year 6 have been busy rehearsing for their end of year production 'Memory Lane' where the children will be sharing some personal memories, a LOT of photos from over the years and some super songs.
Most of the children in Year 6 enjoyed their second transition day to Benton Park this week. All children will have participated in their transition days to all secondary schools by the end of next week.
We have lots of fun times ahead in the next few weeks....
Have a lovely weekend!

Hi,
Year 6 enjoyed their first transition visit to Benton Park this week. The children enjoyed the day and are looking forward to their next visit on Tuesday.
The second Market Day Event for the 'Grow a £5' was a great success. It has been lovely to see the enthusiasm with how the children have approached the challenge. The children will be adding up their takings on Monday and we look forward to sharing the amount they raised. Thank you all for supporting both at home and on the day.
Year 6 will be focused on production rehearsals next week. The children all have song lyrics to learn. We are hoping for a very unique and personal performance this year with the children leading on the content.
The performance will be taking place on Tuesday 9th July at 2pm.
Enjoy the weekend

Hurrah - the sun has finally arrived!
KS2 had an amazing Sports' Day yesterday. All the children enjoyed an afternoon of sunshine and physical activity.
Earlier in the week, Year 6 took part in Road Safety training to assist the children in making those independent journeys to secondary school in September. The children planned the route they would need to take to school and learned how to find out bus and train times.
The main even this week has been the amazing 'Grow a £5' Market Day Event. The event was well supported by the school community - thank you!
There was a great variety of different stalls and the children are learning some valuable lessons in customer service and an understanding of money. The next Market Day Event will be on Thursday 2-4pm.
In class, we are beginning to write the Year 6 Leavers' Production. The children have been sharing memories of their time at primary school and learning how to skilfully both write and deliver these stories to an audience.........
We are definitely keeping busy!
Enjoy the super sunshine this weekend
