Well we have reached the end of the first term. It has been a very long one but a very good one too!
The children have all worked incredibly hard. I know that they are all more than ready for a holiday and a rest.
All that is left to say is have a 'Wonderful Christmas'.

Well this week really has been all about the Christmas Performances of 'The Inn-Spectors'.
The children did an absolutely amazing job! It was a new play this year with some very lengthy roles to play. The children all learnt their lines well and delivered them with confidence and expression. There were also lots of songs to learn which they also did a great job learning by heart. Most importantly, they enjoyed performing. I am very proud of all of them!
I hope you all enjoyed the play. Thank you for your support at home in helping the children to learn their lines and be fully prepared for the performances.
A few reminders for next week:
Tuesday is our Christmas Party. Children need to come to school wearing their party clothes. Please make sure they still have sensible footwear and coats for outside.
Wednesday we have a special sport event for Key Stage 1. All children need to come to school in their PE kits. We are also walking to St. John's Church in the morning for a special service.
Friday is Christmas Jumper Day!

This week we have been very busy getting prepared for our production of 'The Inn-Spectors'. I have been very impressed with how well the children have all learnt their lines. Hopefully they will all deliver them clearly on the day. I am sure that you will all enjoy the play and we look forward to seeing lots of you at Wednesday and Thursday's performances.
We have still managed to fit in lots of our 'normal' work this week too. We have continued our writing inspired by our book 'The Emperor of Absurdia'. We have also been adding pairs of 2 digit numbers and looking at subtracting a single digit from a 2 digit number.
The children have all taken a note home tonight asking that they bring in a pair of P.E. shorts and vest / PE t-shirt to wear underneath their costumes. If we could have those in for Tuesday for our dress rehearsal and performance. Thank you!
