Weekly Update - 12.03.21

Mr Spence (t.spence) on: Lime Tree Class Blog 2020-2021

Hello Lime Tree Class

This week it has been fantastic to see all our pupils return to Lime Tree Class!! With pupils learning from home for such a long time, it has been great to see all the smiling faces returning back to school on a morning and hear the buzz of children learning together in class.

We have been working hard straight away this week as we introduced our new story 'The Three Little Pigs'. We have been speaking about how traditional tales like this have lots of versions written by different people, and that although the main story stays the same, sometimes we see slight changes in the details!

I am sure pupils are very tired after their first week back but they have earned their break this weekend and I am looking forward to another busy week of learning again next week!

Have a great weekend!

Mr Spence

Hello Lime Tree Class!

I hope you all had a good last week of home learning and are ready for coming back on Monday.

Please remember that we have PE on Monday, so you will need to come in your kit.

It would be really helpful if you could bring back your school reading books, reading records and any library books you still have before we hand out new ones this week.

Thank you for all your efforts learning from home! I am so impressed with the engagement of pupils in our class and I am looking forward to seeing all your smiling faces back in class on Monday morning!

Hello Lime Tree Class,

We have reached the end of the half term! Well don't for all your fantastic efforts during this half term, I am so proud of how hard you have worked! Next week you can all enjoy a break from schoolwork and have a well earned rest.

This week I have had some amazing work sent to me. I have really enjoyed looking at your comic strips and fruit and vegetable superheroes. You have worked so hard on them and looked like you have had lots of fun too!

Thank you to all the grown-ups too for all your hard work and support with home learning. It really is appreciated. I am sure that you are also ready for a break!

I will attach home learning for the first week back to a new blog post on or before Sunday 21st February. Paper packs for those who have requested them will be ready from 10am on Monday 22nd February.

Take care and have a great holidays!

Mr Spence
