Hello!
Week 5 of this half term is done and only 1 week to go until our Easter break!
In Maths we have continued with out work on Money by comparing values and making different amounts.
In English we have started to plan and gather ideas for writing a diary entry as a Victorian child. This writing is linked to our topic work and children will be recounting there day at school. They have really enjoyed our role play activities and learning all about the strict Victorian classrooms.
In History we looked at what is left of Victorian Yeadon and we managed to find a photo of Rufford Avenue taken in 1900!
In Science we have been looking at food chains and how energy is passed from one living thing to another. The children had to create as many food chains as possible making sure they started with a producer, included a consumer and ended with a predator.
Next week we are having PE on Monday and Tuesday (not Wednesday). Please come to school in PE kits on these days.
