Hello!
Another great week in Pear Tree has come to an end. Everyone came back with a big smile and a super attitude on Monday!
In English our new focus text is 'The Three Little Pigs'. The children have been sequencing the story and writing thought bubbles as one of the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf.
In Maths we have started a new topic on fractions. This week we have been looking a 1/2. The children have been recognising and finding 1 half of shapes and quantities.
On Wednesday morning Pear Tree had a fantastic morning at Yeadon Library. The Wrongsemble theatre group delivered an amazing story session. All the children loved it!
On Thursday 6th next week it is World Book Day. The theme this year is ANIMALS! Please come as one of your favourite animal characters from your favourite fiction book. Here is a link to the letter that was sent hope before the holidays - WBD letter 2025
