Weekly Update - 5.2.21

Mrs Trotter (l.trotter) on: Maple Tree Class Blog 2020/2021

Hi children,

Well done on completing last week's home-learning.  Click here for next week’s timetable.

Next week, there are further tasks for you to complete in your CGP workbooks - please make sure you only complete the pages we have asked you to complete. You are also still required to upload your maths and English work onto Teams daily.

Next week, on Tuesday 9th, it is Safer Internet Day. On this day, I would like you to watch this virtual assembly and afterwards, complete the BBC live lesson (which I will post a link to on our Teams general page on the day).

Please try your hardest to keep up to date with the lessons and work set. You're all doing a fabulous job so far!

As always, email us with any work-related queries and we will respond during the working week.

Best wishes,
Mrs Trotter

Next week is Children’s Mental Health Week and so we have incorporated some nice PSHE well-being tasks for you to complete on Thursday and Friday.

Please try  your hardest to keep up to date with the lessons and work set. You're all doing a fabulous job so far!

Hi children,

Well done, you’ve completed your first full week of home-learning! Click here for next week’s timetable.

This week, we have provided the answers for each maths worksheet within each lesson. Please read the instructions (at the top of the home-learning timetable) regarding submitting English and maths work at the end of next week.

You will also find some P.E and Geography activities to complete.

As always, email us with any work-related queries and we will respond during the working week.

We would just like to say thank you to parents/carers for their support and understanding during these unprecedented times as we adapt to balancing the requirements of both remote learning and teaching children in school. The Home Learning Timetable has a few more links to mark schemes this week that will support children to self-assess their work in addition to feedback that we will provide directly. We will continue to streamline our approach where needed. In addition, please do not hesitate to contact us our class email if you have a query or concern.

Stay safe,

Mrs Trotter

Hi Maple Tree class,

I hope you are all keeping well! Well done on completing your first week of home-learning.

Click here to view next week’s home-learning timetable. Everything you need, including links and worksheets, is on this document.

You will find there are some different activities to complete; some in your exercise book, some completed and submitted on PurpleMash, a couple of Teams activities and for maths you will be required to complete the worksheets – don’t worry if you cannot print these off, you can always use your exercise book and write your answers here, just remember to date and number your work.

If you have any work-related questions you can email our class email address (see below). We will be able to respond to these throughout the course of the week (Monday to Friday). If you are still unsure on how to access Teams, click here to watch Miss Tidey's guide.

Have a good week and enjoy working through all the lessons we have set for you. It is really important you keep learning and follow a school timetable as closely as possible.

Class email address: maple@ruffordparkprimary.org.uk

Stay safe,
Mrs Trotter
