Weekly Update - 14.05.21

All our pupils should be proud of their super effort with reading this week! I have been so impressed with how many of our children have gone above and beyond the expected 3 times of reading at home in the week. This is really showing with the pupils reading and it would be great if we could keep this up!
In Maths we have been looking at position and direction in Year 2, and we have done some multiplication work and grouping in Year 1.
We have also come to the end of our work with our class story 'The Village of Round and Square Houses' which has generated some interesting discussions over the last two weeks. The children have shown great interest in both class books this half term and they have had some great questions about the different cultures within them.
