Hi,
A busy week in Maple Tree Class.
The children are producing some fantastic diary entries in the role of a World War Two evacuee. They are using every opportunity to include details from their school trip and the vocabulary they are choosing is amazing!
My maths group completed the maths unit on the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). The next unit is fractions. Accurate times tables knowledge is essential here so it's always a good idea to keep practising these multiplication and division facts. Mr. White from Benton Park school has also been teaching an introduction to high school algebra this week. He was pleased with the pupils amazing attitude and understanding when learning something new and challenging.
Thank you for sending in more photos of the wartime recipes. Violet's wartime bread and butter pudding looks delicious!
