Hi,
Some super writing in Maple Tree Class this week. The children have completed editing and improving their biographies on Thomas Barnardo and will be publishing next week. As always, they are eager to use the vocabulary we discuss in class and adventurous vocabulary of their own.
Both maths groups are working on fractions. My group has completed adding and subtracting and are now moving onto multiplying and dividing.
In history, we have started to discuss Victorian life in Yeadon. We focused on William Murgatroyd and will continue to learn about his impact in the local area.
Thank you for the bottles, jars and chocolates for the Christmas Fayre on Saturday. I know the children are looking forward to visiting it.
