Hi everyone,
What a fantastic start to the year! The children have arrived at school with a positive and enthusiastic approach to the year ahead and have been busy revisiting maths and English knowledge and developing their collaborative skills. They have lots of exciting learning and activities to look forward to this year. The first activity is our trip to Eden Camp on Wednesday 21st September where the children will learn lots of information about World War Two that they will use in their writing and other topic-based work. Please can consent letters for this trip be returned by Monday 12th September.
Just a few reminders. Black shoes are to be worn on non PE days (Maple Tree Class PE days are Thursday and Friday). Homework is to be returned on Wednesday. I have explained to the children how I would like this work presented.
