Cedar Week 4 Summer 2 w.e 28.06.24

Hello
A fun week of exploring a variety of poems including a focus on Kennings. The children's imaginations and enthusiasm has had us all amazed and laughing along because the nature of a Kenning is less formal than others styles of writing we draft in school.
We have continued in History and Geography to learn about Ancient Egyptians and modern Egypt and made comparisons this week between the two time periods. The children were surprised how much of ancient Egypt you can still see and visit today.
We are finishing our split year group S.R.E lessons this week so we can then go back to shared P.S.H.E lessons for the rest of term with shared vocabulary.
