Willow Tree Home Learning-7/5/21

Hello everyone,
Unfortunately, as you know, Willow Tree have had to isolate and work from home this week, but I'd just like to say how proud I am with the attitude to learning and the resilience that the children have shown. For English, we have focused our work around Stig of the Dump and for Maths we have focused on Fractions consolidation.
Below are some super pieces of work produced throughout the week.
The children have also been creating their own music (which relates to our work on Sound in Science) using Purple Mash, but also using any instruments they have at home as well. Below is a video of one of the children creating a tune on a tongue drum. I wonder if anyone recognises the tune and a very famous film that it is used in.
Next week, normal teaching shall resume and on Tuesday 11th May the first of 6 catch-up sessions will start after school at 3:30.
That's all for now,
Mr Kyriacou :)
