On Tuesday after school the U11 football team visited Horsforth Newlaithes Primary to play their first game of the season. It was a close game in the end but it could have been wrapped up in the first half such was our dominance. Some good defending and goalkeeping from our opponents kept the score to 1-0 at half time. In the second half it was very different as Newlaithes piled on the pressure and equalised midway through this period. Rufford Park had to defend well and turned the game back in our favour with 5 minutes to go. The final score was:
