Hi,
Now we have completed our second week back as a full class it feels like we have never been away! We have had another very busy week. The last group of Year 6's completed Bikeability successfully on Monday. Then, we watched a very exciting presentation by Dr Diane Davies, the only Maya archaeologist in the U.K. Dr Diane normally comes into school to deliver this presentation but it was great that we were still able to learn all about the ancient Maya from her virtually.
Here is a link to her website where she shares lots of other activities/information about the ancient Maya if you want to learn more.

Following on from this, in English we have been writing postcards as though we were Maya archaeologists just like Dr Diane.
In maths, Miss Bairstow's group have been revising the basics of fractions and Mrs Trotter and Mr Smith's groups have been learning about perimeter and area.
