Skipping Festival
Year 4 took part in the skipping festival last Thursday and they were competing against four other local schools. The individual skipping skills they were competing in were: Single Bounce, Double Bounce, Crossover, Side Straddle, Side Swing, Pretzel and Side Swing Crossover. The group events were Keep the Pot Boiling and Run Jump Out. We were able to win the majority of the individual skills events, earning a lot of gold medals in the process and we also manged to win the most points overall. The children were absolutely amazing, not only with what they achieved in the competition, but also with the way in which they represented the school with their behaviour and attitude.
