Hello and welcome back!
We have now entered the Summer term and the weather is really making it feel so! We got straight back into working hard in all of our subjects..
In English we looked at a variety of leaflets to learn about persuasive language. (WARNING: The children may try to use their new persuasive skills on you this weekend... e.g. to ask for ice-creams or a later bedtime!)
In maths we've been revising fractions and learning about the place value of decimal numbers.
For guided reading, we explored the first chapter of the brilliant Stig of the Dump, by Clive King.
In PSHE, we have been looking at safe and unsafe situations. We discussed where on a line we would put different situations and what we could do to make them safer. This is part of our new SCARF syllabus.
If your child has mislaid their homework summary, it can be downloaded here. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Have a lovely weekend.
