Weekly Update 24.3.23

Hello everyone!
With just one more week to go until the Easter break, we have been busy consolidating this half term's learning through a variety of assessments and activities.
The children have all performed admirably this week and should be very proud of the progress they have made and their subsequent achievements.
On top of their hard work during the assessment days, the children all did a fantastic job at all the performances of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and it was brilliant to see so many of you attending to support the children in Years 3, 4 and 5.
We are looking forward to next week when children will have the opportunity to present their volcano research project to the class. We will be starting on Monday with these. I have already had a quick look at those that have been handed in and they really do look incredible!
Homework will be sent home tonight and is due in on Wednesday. A polite reminder that we expect children to be reading at least 5 times a week which can be the reading scheme book provided by school or a book of their choice from the school library or from home.
