Weekly Update 10.12.21
Posted: Dec 10, 2021 by: K Simms (k.simms) on: Willow Tree Class Blog
Hello everyone,
As we rapidly approach the end of the Autumn Term and look towards the New Year, we have been extremely busy here in Willow Tree Class!
In English, we have been collating all our knowledge about the Anglo-Saxons and used this information to create a non-chronological report. We have been working hard to include fronted adverbials and a range of conjunctions to add extra information to our sentences.
In maths, we have been looking at efficient ways to multiply and have done lots of short multiplication practice.
In science, we investigated how our body is able to move and which of our muscles we use when we do everyday activities....the answer was a lot more than we thought it would be!
Of course, we have also been preparing for the Christmas production and the children have been very busy learning their lines and making sure their voice reaches the back of the hall!
Over the weekend, please encourage your child to keep practising and make sure they know when their cues are. If they have not already brought in their costume they will need to do so on Monday ready for the dress rehearsal.
If you have any questions about the production next Tuesday and Wednesday please email the Office.
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Simms
