Weekly Update 3.12.21

Hello everyone,
It’s been assessment week here at Rufford Park. The children conducted themselves admirably throughout a series of tests and I am very pleased with the progress they have made since September.
One obvious fact stands out though – the children who have made the most progress are all doing two things at home:
- Reading regularly to an adult (at least 5 times per week).
- Practising their times tables on TT Rockstars.
These two factors have a massive impact on learning – so do please get in touch if you require help motivating your child to develop either of these core skills.
We've continued to make good progress with Christmas play rehearsals (the final deadline for learning lines is this MONDAY 6TH DECEMBER). We’ve also had a new face join our class and I'm sure the children will fill you in on all the things he has been up to!
