Good afternoon everyone!
What a terrific week it has been here in Willow Tree Class!
We have been celebrating lots more achievements including our Times Tables Awards…
Congratulations to Ethan and Eva who have achieved their Bronze Award and Viraaj and Amelia who have achieved their Silver Award!
Let’s have a huge push on times tables and see if we can get everyone to complete their Bronze Award in the next few weeks…
In maths, we have started our new topic of multiplication and division and have done lots of practical activities to help us with finding “groups of” and sharing.
In science, we have been looking at what we all have inside of us…..a skeleton! We have been finding out about exoskeletons, endoskeletons and even something called a hydrostatic skeleton!
The children have worked extremely hard this week and I am very impressed with their efforts in reading particularly.
Homework will be sent home today, as we are not in tomorrow, and will be due back on Wednesday.
