Another week has gone by so quickly.
In English, the children wrote posters about Africa to recap everything that they have learnt over this half term.
In maths we recapped our understanding of time and remembered how to read the time when the clock is showing o'clock and half past the hour.
We learnt about food chains and how energy is transferred from plants to herbivores and then on to carnivores. The children enjoyed drawing their own food chains.
We had a very sporty Wednesday afternoon on the bottom field and the children took part in a KS1 football festival with three other schools. The children represented our school so well and showed good resilience.
The KS1 disco will take place straight after school on Monday 15th July. The cost to attend is £3.50 (to be paid through ParentPay) and your child can wear their party clothes to school on this day.
You will have the opportunity to see all the children's African models straight after school on Tuesday 16th July.
