A slightly shorter half term has come to an end but we have certainly packed it full of learning!
This week in English the children writing their instructions for how to get Cinderella ready for the ball. All the children have made such good progress with their writing since the start of the year and they should be very proud of their work.
In maths, we have continued learning about multiplication and division. We learnt how to share equally between 2 and 5 groups using practical resources before moving onto sharing by drawing groups and counters.
In geography the children drew their own map of Yeadon using aerial photographs.
This week we have had Miss Hodges teaching in our class. Miss Hodges is a student teacher who is in her final year of teacher training. Miss Hodges will continue to teach some lessons over the following weeks at school.
Online Safety Day happened on Tuesday 6th February. Please take some time to talk to your children about online safety at home. Resources can be found here: https://www.ruffordparkprimary.org.uk/information/curriculum/computing
Enjoy the half term. Please remember Monday 19th February is a Training Day so I will see you again on Tuesday 20th February.
