Hello!
It has been another lovely week in Lime Tree :)
We have made the most of the good weather and got outside wherever possible! This week in Science we have looked at microhabitats so we went on a nature walk around the school grounds to try find as many minibeasts as we could. We recorded what we found and where we found them. When we got back to class we discussed our findings.
In English we have been sequencing our new focus text 'Mama Panya's Pancakes' and writing thought/feeling bubbles from different characters perspectives.
As our topic is all about Africa we decided to do some African silhouette paintings which look fantastic. We used water colour to create the sunrise effect and black card for the animals silhouettes.
