Weekly Update 21.10.22

Hello!
The first half term has already come to an end. It seems to have come and gone in a flash but we have enjoyed every second of it!
In Maths, Year 1 have continued with their addition within 10 by using number lines. Year 2 have been looking at ways to add 2 numbers together by making 10 first and also adding 3 single digits together with the help of ten frames and their number bond knowledge.
In English we have continued with our poetry. The children have written a poem of their choice based on 'What the Ladybird Heard' or 'The Owl Babies'. I have been amazed at the use of onomatopoeic and alliteration words in their writing!
To finish the week we have had a little treat and had a go on the KS2 Trim Trail.
