Hello!
Another busy week has come to an end. It was lovely to talk to all at Parent's Evening and let you know how well the children have settled into Lime Tree Class.
We have finally finished the shoebox habitats which are being sent home with the children today. I think everyone has done a fantastic job and the colourful minibeasts are very cheerful!
In English we have continued with our focus text 'What the Ladybird Heard'. The children have been writing poems using onomatopoeia and alliteration.
In Maths Year 1 have been working on number bonds to 10 and Year 2 have been working on number bonds to 100.
We have also had our first History lesson of the year in preparation for our Florence Nightingale topic starting next week.
